Yosemite National Park is a major tourist attraction in the state of California where it is located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The National Parks spans over a large area equaling 3,027 Km2 where huge sequoia trees are present all over the pace. The Yosemite National Park is famous for major tourists attractions here such as the Half Dome, Yosemite Valley, Yosemite Falls, and the Glacier Point. It is one of the oldest national parks in history as it was established in the year 1890. While we were traveling through the USA, California was one of those states in the country where we spent most of our time. Naturally, we wanted to treasure the natural habitat and the beauty of the National Park.
Exploring the lifestyle of Yosemite Village
We made the plan to visit the place in the first week of August last year. During this time in the year, the weather starts to settle providing an opportunity to explore the places. We reached here and found a lodging in the Yosemite Village. The village provides a great living experience for travelers. There are restaurants providing delicious food, shops, lodgings, museums and other necessities of life. We spent a night here trying to relinquish our fatigue before started on the other adventures of the trip.
Exploring the beauty of Yosemite Valley
We went to explore the beauty of the Yosemite Valley, which is a major tourist attraction here. We hike to the place enjoying ourselves with the stunning scenery here, which brings the nature closed to men.
Climbing the Half Dome Cables Route
It is one of the most challenging hikes at the Yosemite National Park. Some of us decided to take on the challenge of climbing up the Yosemite Cables Route. The ascent here is steep and without the cables, it would be extremely difficult to climb. Most of us enjoyed the scenes at the base of Half Dome.
Visiting the Glacier Point of the Yosemite National Park
One of the major tourist attraction of the Yosemite National Park is the Glacier Point here. The top of the mountain is covered with snow and we were lucky to visit this place in the right nick of time. The scenes here are unlike any other place in the world. We spent quite a few hours taking pictures and enjoying the beauty of this place.
We had been in the National Park for a few days and since we had to visit many other places in the state, we had to cut our trip short.
